Julia grew up in Sonoma, California but spent most summers on the East Coast with her family in Connecticut. She likes to say "the redwood trees and the cool breeze" brought her back to the Bay where she started her real estate career in San Francisco in 2009, joined Team Own Marin in 2015 and the rest is history! Her local roots, attention to detail and love for beautiful homes makes her a tremendous asset to her clients. On the board of the Women’s Council of Realtors Marin Chapter and a mom comrade a.k.a "Momrade" in the Southern Marin Moms Club, she likes being an active member in her community almost as much as she loves spending time with her daughter, Josephine, son, Grant and husband, Garrett. On any given day off, you might just find her entertaining at home with family and friends, hiking around Marin or heading out to the coast for local oysters and fresh air.

We worked with Julia Fitzpatrick to buy our first house in San Rafael, CA. Julia Fitzpatrick and her team are really, really good at this. In short, we ended up checking way more boxes on our home-buying wishlist than we ever dreamed we could have thanks to her. We were actually recommended to Julia by more than one person, and so her reputation preceded her. Having lived in the city for a dozen years, we were somewhat begrudging in our move to the suburbs and Julia struck exactly the right chord with a) her patience while we explored other markets and b) her personality in making us comfortable (even enthused) with landing where we ultimately did in San Rafael. We gave her a tall task with a pretty narrow set of criteria and the same budget nearly everyone seemed to have, but one of the key selling points in working with Julia's team was how connected they are and the promise of unlisted off-market opportunities they get access to. Julia did a great job serving up only opportunities that met our needs while providing realistic recommendations on how we could expand our search without too much compromise.
